"Cruet, Silver, Coat Of Arms, Paris, 1754"
Silver oil and vinegar cruet, boat-shaped, rocaille model with scrolled feet, the body engraved with an alliance coat of arms under a Count's crown. Paris 1754-1755. Master silversmith Louis-Gaspard Thévennot received master on September 26, 1735. Weight 760g - length 27cm. Condition, very good, it is well hallmarked and complete with its stoppers. I am attaching a pair of cut crystal cruets to the model. Beautiful coat of arms. It is cast silver and not stamped silver! Very rare model from the Louis XV period.
