Rare Louis XVI period chair stamped G.IACOB, George Jacob, master in 1765 in Paris. One of the most prestigious signatures of the second half of the 18th century for this cabriolet armchair with medallion back. Original paint. Good structural condition, needs reupholstering. Paired with the Pierre BRIZARD chair.
