"Exceptional Antique Louis XV Style White Carrara Marble Fireplace, Richly Carved "
Exceptional and extremely rare antique Louis XV Napoleon III decorative fireplace made of very white Carrara marble, it is very richly and finely carved. Band decorated with a central shell surrounded by finely carved flowers and foliage and flowered honeycombs. Curved jambs in the Louis XV spirit starting with pearled rocaille shells and ending with inverted acanthus leaves and curved paneled sides of very fine quality. This decorative fireplace is in excellent condition, fully restored in our workshops, it has a very beautiful cast iron interior carved in three parts. A modern fire plate with cabochons is being made. This fireplace is now available for sale in our showroom.
