Unusual model and excellent workmanship for this 19th century fireplace mirror, beaded molding known as "basket handle" with generous egg decorations in an infinity movement, 11 cm wide. Finish: conservation of original gold leaf, creation of old-fashioned patina and resumption of gold leaf. Slightly ashy mercury glass, wooden parquet background. Reference: Palais du Louvre
