The Supplizio di Dirce also known as Toro Farnese is a marble copy of a Hellenistic sculptural group from the Roman period. It is kept at the National Archaeological Museum in Naples and is the largest archaeological sculpture ever found. There are various bronze versions that reproduce it, the oldest of which include the 17th-century version by Pietro da Barga kept at the Bargello Museum in Florence, and the early 17th-century version by Antonio Susini, dated 1613, kept at the Borghese Gallery. While from the 19th century are the versions by Giorgio Sommer and Michele Amodio.
