"Airplane-shaped Oil Lamp, India"
Very original oil lamp because it represents an airplane. It is certainly the result of a private order. The base is circular and topped with a shaft that supports the airplane. At its top, a bird sits enthroned from which the wick came out. The bird unscrews to be able to fill the airplane with oil. We find this type of bird on Indian or Nepalese lamps. I
