This beautiful oil on canvas, circa 1940-1950, is in very good condition, ready to be hung. It is signed A. Thevenaz lower right. The boat depicted is typical of Lake Geneva. It seems to be transporting the famous stones of Meillerie (Haute-Savoie), used in the construction of many buildings in Geneva and Switzerland.
