"An Etling Statuette By R.lalique"
The Isadora statuette is probably the best known of the statuettes in the Etling catalogue. Famous in the 1920s/1940s, Etling offered an impressive collection of high-quality decorative objects such as Chiparus bronzes and glassware created by Lucille Sévin, who was the decorator of this house. The Isadora statuette is similar in its design to radiator caps. It is made of opalescent glass and bears the Etling signature in molded stick letters and a serial number. It is in excellent condition.
