Pair Of Gilded Bronze And Crystal Column Lamps

Magnificent pair of Charles X-style table lamps in crystal, bronze and gilded brass. The square bronze base is chased with fine palmettes.
It accommodates the first part of the crystal, a large “block” 13 cm high x 8 cm wide, set and securely held in the base. The upper part features a ribbed crystal base where an elegant, highly decorative chased bronze ring sets the 30 cm-high crystal shaft.
The last ring, below the socket, is topped by a bronze nailhead decorated with acanthus leaves.
The electrification is completely new, with bayonet socket.
Sold with two new shades in pleated natural silk, diameter 40 cm.
20th century - In perfect condition.
Column-shaped, they meet neoclassical standards with their central shaft and wide, hand-cut diamond-point base. Guaranteed to sparkle in the slightest ray of sunlight !
