"19th Century Two-body Mahogany Bookcase"
Large 2-part bookcase from the Restoration period in Cuban mahogany burl circa 1830. The lower body, which rests on a plinth, opens with 2 doors joined with a bronze molding. A pull covered with beige leather trimmed with gold hidden above these doors enhances this piece of furniture and is very useful in use. The upper body, set back from the lower one, opens with two large doors also joined by a bronze molding with their period glass separated in the middle by a bronze molding. Bookcase which originally has 5 shelves all adjustable in height (on request more can be added depending on the desired layout). This bookcase, which offers a large storage capacity, is of very good quality, all mounted on oak and with locks, chiseled bronze lock entries and period keys. Furniture in perfect condition, revarnished with a buffer.
