Very beautiful view of India by Henry SALT (1780-1827), engraved by Daniel HAVELL (1785-1826). This is an Aquatint enhanced with watercolor measuring (at sight) 43.5 x 58 cm (62.5 x 77.5 cm with its frame). The work is titled "PAGODAS AT TRINCHICUNUM" and was published by William MILLER in 1808. It is a view of TIRUKALIKUNDRAM, between Pondicherry and Madras. The work is in very good condition and very fresh in color. Free delivery in Paris possible.
