Verdi writes from Genoa where he resides with his wife, Giuseppina, from September 1874. He is worried about not having news from Corticelli. He asks him what the weather is like because he plans to come Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to Sainte Agathe.
Verdi spent the last years of his life between Milan, Genoa and Sainte Agatha.
