Daum is currently the only manufacturer to use the glass paste process for art glassware. This technique involves pressing crushed glass into a refractory mold and then melting it in a furnace. It is an ancient Egyptian method of glass molding, adopted in 1906 by Daum, initially used for window panes to create a more intense color.

A fabulous decorative object, enhanced by intense light.
