Oil on canvas depicting a still life with apples and walnuts, signed lower left J. Lorillon (1836-1912), second half of the 19th century. J. Lorillon exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1881 to 1888. He moved to Ecouen in 1890 where he was part of a colony of artists around the painter Pierre Édouard Frère, close to the realist and naturalist trends in vogue at the time. Very good condition of the canvas. The frame has a tiny little lack in the lower right corner. Canvas dimensions: height
