Beautiful large key, late 16th or early 17th century, recognizable by its open pierced bit, 5-tooth comb on a flared muzzle and the base as round capital.
Classic French wedding key. This one, a thick flat ring cut 4.5mm thick, has a heart, centered with 5 curved openwork, including two wedding rings, two full purses, enhanced with an engraving filet. Typical key of the second French Renaissance.
Stem is drilled, diameter 8mm,
