Steel rondache-type shield engraved with two concentric friezes, centered around a tapered umbo, with three sides engraved with foliage and a round medallion, featuring the double-headed Roman heraldic eagle. It clasps a thunderbolt and a globe in each of its paws.
The median frieze features cartouches animated with trophies of arms and medallion portraits of kings, emperors and knights in armor. The last frieze is richly decorated with flowers and foliage. The rim is decorated with oblique cross-hatching.
The domed front is punctuated with protruding rivets, while the reverse features a socket.
