Ghislain Victor Carte, 1891-1974, Belgian painter and watercolorist of urban, marine and port views, still lifes and flowers. Born in Namur, he was a student of this Academy before being a student of Constant Montald at the Academy of Brussels. Married to the painter Estelle Juste. He exhibited for the first time in 1921. After living from 1919 to 1930 in the South of France, he settled in Uccle where he died in 1974. Artist listed in Arto and Piron, listed on Artprice, Artnet, etc.
