Edmond ETLING is a Parisian dealer in decorative art objects, who excelled in the 1920s and 1930s in France. He had two fundamental principles: on the one hand, always being "in the taste" and on the other hand, hiring fashionable artists. He had the Richard vases executed between 1920 and 1929 at Johann LOETZ WITWE in South Bohemia, in Klostermühle. The artistic quality of Edmond Etling was compared to that of René Lalique. The Cristallerie de Sèvres produced pieces from the molds of the models that the artist still owned, then Choisy le Roi (1932) and Vannes le Châtel currently. Because he was Jewish, Edmond Etling and his entire family were deported to Germany in 1940. The inheritance of the precious molds was never claimed...Measurement: Cup 20cmHeight 23cmBase 12cm
