Japan, circa 1890/1900

Large, very refined Satsuma ceramic figurine of a young woman wearing a classic Meiji era (1868-1912) kimono decorated with multicolored flowers.

She carries a broom and has a charming half-smile on her face, her hair tied up in two buns.

She appears to be in very good condition, perhaps one small professional restoration on a red border on the sleeves, but the gilding and polychromy are generally of good quality.
