"Bronze Applique Of King David, Circa 1500"
Circular applique bronze, representing King David playing the lyre, adorned with the monogram AD, in the center of a heavily openwork Gothic rosette. Work from the late 15th / early 16th century, executed like bronze lace, and probably coming from a box or a precious binding. Very good condition. Diameter: 8 cm
