"Large Gilded Wooden Mirror With Glazing Beads, 18th Century Provence"
Large Provençal castle mirror in carved and gilded wood from the Louis XV period. It is topped with a large shell surrounded by acanthus leaves, and is decorated with scrolls, flowers, leaves carved in relief. Original dimensions for a mirror of the time, it is only 75cm wide by 196cm high, so it is quite easy to place, and can also be put on a stand. Some repairs to the gilding and a broken glazing bead under the shell are to be noted, but everything is very visible in the photos. More information on request.
