18th Century Carved Wooden Church Trunk.

Church collection trunk, with two locks and a secret opening system. Possessing on the top two slots, one for St. Claude and one for the Holy Virgin, to collect the coins of the faithful. In solid oak, assembly with large dovetails. Good used condition, some small wood losses, locks later to the chest, see photos. Period late 18th century. Waxed patina. Secret system described by photo N°11. Dimensions: Height with its cross 69 cm, without cross 32 cm. Width 36 cm, depth 23 cm. Weight 7.5 kg.
