With hallmarks, local marks, and silversmith marks (Santander, Trabanco, M.Navarro).
An Indian, wearing a skirt and a feather headdress, holds a basket with a handle on his head. The figure is standing on a column, flanked by two circular spaces for the vinegar cruets and two other supports for the salt and pepper shakers. The decoration based on classical columns and palmettes is characteristic of Neoclassicism, while the presence of the feathered Indian brings a touch of exoticism that was very popular in the 19th century.
