Superb cherry chest from the Italian Renaissance of the 17th century with its top painted inside. Which is unusual and gives it a lot of charm. Small model, unusual since the chests of this period are often larger.
Very beautiful molding work on its face as well as on its sides. Simple and very elegant.
It rests on skates.
