Large mirror with a 17th century burrwalnut frame and embossed brass veneer.
This model features an openworkpediment richly decorated with birds, cornucopias, fruits, andfoliage in arabesques. Note that this exuberant decoration isreproduced on the similarly openwork brass plaques and spandrels.
This mirror also features a doubleframe of embossed brass friezes with floral motifs and surrounded byblack-tinted molded strips.
The mercury glass is original.
The parquet flooring is also original.
