Pair of solid, turned brass mid-century table lamps with silk shade by Luciano Frigerio, 1960s
The elegant base consists of a solid brass band (2.5 cm wide x 1.0 cm thick) twisted upwards.
The base has a kind of smooth buckle at the front as the beginning, so to speak, and then winds gently upwards to the closed plate where the holder for the cable is guided. This band is hewn with hammer blows and therefore has a sculptural, plastic character with highs and lows.
We have also had a small brass spacer incorporated at the top so that the shade sits above the light-footed base and does not press directly on the object.
The coarse silk shade in offwhite from DEDAR is slightly conical and measures 32 x 30 x 36 cm.
