Pair of candlesticks made around the 1980s in Murano glass with gold dust.
The two subjects represent a couple, Knight and Lady, wearing typical Venetian costumes. The male figure measures 32x18x10 cm and the female figure 30x14x9 cm. They were made using filigree work, one of the most elegant decorative techniques developed by Murano master glassmakers. These techniques are made using transparent glass rods containing straight or intertwined white threads inside, creating the effect of delicate lace within the glass wall.
The state of preservation is very good.
