"Oil On Panel "
We present this framed oil on panel depicting a church in a snowy landscape. This painting is by Francis CARIFFA, a painter born in Chambéry in 1890 and died at the age of 85 on December 30, 1975 in Challes les eaux (73), where he settled after a short stay in Montmartre. He was a test pilot during the war, where his brother lost his life. His brother was a theater artist. Francis's wife and daughter were also painters. Our painting is located in Montagnole in Savoie (73). Good condition, in its original condition, it might benefit from being cleaned. (E25)
