Two plates from the service known as "Georges Sand" The mark on the back of these plates was used by the Creil and Montereau factory between 1840 and 1876. Hand-painted relief decoration of flowering strawberries. This service was the favorite of Georges Sand who had ordered it for her home in Nohant, hence its nickname "Georges Sand" service.
