Exceptional solid mahogany bookcase dating from the early 20th century. It is in the Louis XVI style. This bookcase opens with six doors, three double doors. The side uprights are rounded, richly molded, and fluted. The front uprights, its parents the doors, are also fluted. The three locks are two-point, and each lock has its key that works perfectly well, for three keys in total. The lock escutcheons are in gilded bronze. This bookcase has 16 modular shelves, allowing you to adjust the desired height. These shelves have mahogany moldings on their edges. It is completely disassemblable thanks to its drilled round-head nuts. There is a plaque inside stating "Soubrier Ameublement 14 rue de Reuilly Paris. This high quality furniture house has existed for 150 years. Each door has its curtain which can be removed according to preferences. This bookcase is of high quality, very beautifully made, the sides and fronts are in solid mahogany, the backs and the interior frame are in oak. This bookcase is in good condition, note a very slight lack of small molding at the top on its right side... (see photo right side).
