"Nymph On A Dolphin - Marble Circa 1980 - Angela Cassanello 1921-2003"
White marble from the Pyrenees - a chip at the base - unsigned. Angela Cassanello, born in 1921, is an Italian painter and sculptor. Her art ranges from figuration to abstraction, but is distinguished by the expressiveness of her forms and a fluidity of movement. Her creations have been exhibited and sold at various auctions and art galleries. Her sculptures, made of bronze and marble, are particularly appreciated for their ability to convey movement, creating a contrast between the solidity of the material and the lightness of the forms that characterize her figures. Filmmaker Gabor Julio Szepesi filmed the sculptor in her Paris studio in 1985 while she was working on her work (see excerpts in an illustrated note on the artist). A certificate will be given to the buyer. Weight about 60 kg - two people are needed to move it - a carrier is required.
