Elegant light cavalry officer's saber "Hungarian style". Patent leather handle filigree with a twist of brass wire surrounded by simple wire. Cap with a short tail cut in an accolade and decorated with line. Rounded guard branch joining the crossguard at a right angle. It has a medallion in its center and its sides are striated. Quillon in the shape of a palmette curved downwards. Navette ear-pieces.
White blade with a hollow face.
One-piece brass scabbard with two registers, rounded, then striated below the second bail bracelet. Domed bail bracelets. Barrel-shaped striated pitons. Brass rings. Symmetrical iron dart. T
his weapon is in very good condition. It can be dated to the Consulate period.
