Charming pair of medallion paintings painted in oil on wood panels. They represent two young peasants. The young man in the fields before the harvest carries an armful of wheat where poppies and cornflowers appear, the young woman a jug in her hand. Beautiful bright colors. They are highlighted by their slightly molded wooden frame with a golden patina. Period very early 19th century. Dimensions: 27 cm x 21.5 cm 31 cm x 26 cm with their frame Good condition with their beautiful patina of time. Small lacks to the frames (see photos).
