Magnificent antique Louis XVI style fireplace made of white Carrara marble in the 19th century. This fireplace called Macarons in reference to the floral motifs on its band, a pearl decoration frames these famous flowers which are different from each other, all with refinement. The band is made from a single block of marble where we find at the ends two round rosettes of incredible finesse. The jambs are carved with acanthus leaves and the sides carved with panels. It has a sculpted cast iron narrowing and a three-panel curtain, a modern fire plate is in the process of being made.
