A mirror made around the 1950s in Murano glass, with decorative floral applications, also in Murano glass, and gold leaf within the flowers and frame. There is an additional engraved floral decoration in the frame.
Worked and produced by craftsmen on the island of the same name in the lagoon, Murano glass has a long history dating back to Roman times. One of the important historical features, which make the pieces unique in the world, is the absolute uniqueness of the workmanship of these objects, which are created solely and exclusively in this area using special techniques that have remained unchanged over the centuries.
The entire object measures 75x94x6 cm and is in good condition.
The two wooden feet serve as supports and will be removed when it is hung on the wall.
