African crest in carved wood depicting two human figures seated back to back on a stylized geometric structure evoking an animal. Probably originating from West or Central Africa, this ceremonial piece from the early 20th century demonstrates traditional craftsmanship. Original dark patina with some visible signs of wear over time.
