Beautiful female nude painting from the first half of the 20th century. Oil on canvas, first canvas, artwork signed P. Sieffert, attributable to the French painter Paul Sieffert (the painting is not currently accompanied by an expertise, but it is possible to obtain it upon payment of the relevant additional costs). Known for his nudes and portraits, he exhibited at the Paris Salon and also won the prestigious Grand Prix de Rome. The protagonist of the composition is a young woman sitting on a rich fur coat. The woman is captured in a classic and relaxed pose, with her face turned in profile and an absorbed gaze, while the reflection of the mirror adds an interesting play of perspective and depth to the scene. The executive quality is unquestionable, in particular the rendering of the complexion with wonderful effects of light on the skin is to be highlighted. Contemporary 20th century frame in richly carved and gilded wood, with some signs of aging. The canvas has small drops of color (see photo), overall in good condition. Interior size H 44.5 x W 53.5 cm.
