Very beautiful carved wooden statue, polychrome and gilded with leaf. Period 18th. Christ, the Paschal lamb at his feet, presenting the Holy Book which rests as its culmination on what could represent the tree of life of the Garden of Eden. This one is clasped in the arms of Christ and covered with a piece of his cloak. - Dimensions: height: 47.5 cms; width: 17 cms; depth: 14 cms.
