Pewter baluster pitcher with short foot, almost cylindrical throat, stepped lid and terrace and "shell" thumb rest.
Hallmarking:
1° - angel-justice / palms / CL(-) probably by Charles Louis FLAMENT active until 1793.
2° - by Florent Louis BAILLY active around 1850: crowned rose / FLB.
Height: 21 cm.
DOUAI, end of the 18th century

In very good condition and medium patina. It is not uncommon to see the presence of two different masters' marks on the same piece, attesting to a workshop takeover, here from the widow of the first or her descendants, by the second who countermarks the pitcher.
