[GEOGRAPHY. TRAVEL]. Fun Science. The Departments of France. New magnetic game, Paris, “NK Atlas” [Nicolas and Keller], undated [1906-1909]. Dimensions: 28.5x25x5.5 cm. Box and lid split at some edges, 2 corners consolidated with adhesive tape. Magnetic question/answer game, composed of 6 discs (questionnaires) of 6 different colors and a board (answers) which includes a circle divided into 6 circular strips corresponding to the 6 colors of the discs. The last disc contains the instructions. In the center of the board are a thicker magnetic disc and a rotating metal cursor decorated with a chromolithographed cardboard figure representing a magician. The lid of the box is illustrated with a chromolithograph bearing the logo of the game manufacturer and publisher Nicolas et Keller, "NK Atlas Paris", which allows the game to be dated between 1906 and 1909. In fact, this was replaced, from 1909, by a new logo of "registered trademark NK Atlas, Paris".
