Oil on relined canvas "Presumed portrait of Honoré Daumier" unsigned. French school. 31.5 X 22.5 cm (visible). Honoré Daumier (1808-1879). Our painting dates from the second half of the 19th century. Comparable to the work of Adolphe Monticelli (1824-1886) who was born in Marseille like Daumier. The technique used is, however, reminiscent of the work of the famous caricaturist. You be the judge.
