He is known for the Philibert Delorme gallery built following his trip to Italy in 1536.
Its decor constitutes one of the first experiments in France of the Renaissance style.

Biography:
Adrien Godien is an artist from Lyon (1873 – 1949) He was a student of the Beaux Arts in Lyon where he returned in 1888 From 1896, he exhibited at the Salon de Lyon then at the Salon des Artistes français in Paris in 1899. He painted portraits, scenes taken in the theater, views of the city of Lyon.
