"Garden Of The Palais Royal Paris "
View of the gardens of the Palais Royal during the occupation of Paris by the coalition armies against Napoleon. Drawn by Courvoisiers, an artist active in the early 19th century and familiar with views of Paris, the scene was engraved by Pierre Eugène Aubert (1789-1847). The print is colored with watercolor and gouache and is framed in a modern frame. It measures 24.5 x 40.5 cm at the base.
