Charming little solid silver box in the Empire style.

The box is round with a Swiss shield decoration on the lid, typical of the First Empire, on a radiant background. The rim is guilloché with a frieze of pincers and dots.
The rim of the lid is slightly flared and guilloché with a Greek fretwork frieze.

The base of the box is guilloché with a solar motif.

The interior of the box is silver-gilt.

It is hallmarked with a boar's head, guaranteeing solid silver since 1838.
