Object description :

"Siegel Buffet Counter Paris"
Rare, 1950s oak and leather trading counter, stamped Siegel Paris, which can be used as a sideboard. It is a true testament to the craftsmanship of Siegel Paris, founded at the end of the 19th century, an iconic name in the creation and manufacture of high-end commercial furniture, such as counters, display cases, and displays. This counter, formerly used in a haberdashery, is composed of: an anthracite gray leather top, and two cupboards opening with sliding doors. Each cupboard has a shelf (not height-adjustable and not removable). This counter has been carefully cleaned and the varnish on its oak structure has been polished with linseed oil. The leather on the top has been renovated and re-stained in anthracite gray. In very good condition, it shows signs of use from its past life visible in photos. This Fauvette is a unique piece, full of history, which combines authenticity and functionality. Ideal for commercial use or as a storage sideboard at home, it will give your shop, showroom or interior an authentic retro decor. Its dimensions: L174.5 x D64.5 x H92. Top: L170 x D56. Cupboards (2): L84.5 x D56 x H57. Spacing between shelves (non-removable) from top to bottom: 28.5-27.
