Object description :

"Siegel Paris Showcase Counter"
Rare, 1950s commercial display counter, in oak, glass, leather and brass, stamped Siegel Paris. It is a true testament to the craftsmanship of the Siegel Paris house, founded at the end of the 19th century, which is an iconic name in the creation and manufacture of high-end commercial furniture, such as counters, display cases and displays. This display counter, formerly used in a haberdashery, is double-sided. It is composed as follows: In the upper part: a glass display case upholstered in beige leather, accessible by two sliding oak doors. In the lower part: two sliding oak doors open onto a spacious storage space, divided into two parts, each fitted with a removable shelf. This display counter has been carefully cleaned and the varnish on its oak structure has been polished with linseed oil. In very good condition, it shows signs of use from its past life visible in photos. This Fauvette is a unique piece, full of history, which combines authenticity and functionality. Ideal for commercial use or as a storage unit at home, it will give your shop, showroom or interior an authentic retro decor. Its dimensions: L174.5 x D64.5 x H92. Top (glass): L170 x D56.
