Napoleon III period silver-plated and gilded bronze centerpiece or bowl on a pedestal. The work of Léopold Oudry, Editor, this bowl features a particularly successful decoration. The surrounding decor is vegetal with flowers and foliage, butterflies, and dragonflies. The center depicts a draped woman with a standard in her left hand and fish in her right. In the background, a sailing boat. The shaft features deer heads. The base is gadrooned. Signed in the decoration L. Oudry, Editor. Napoleon III period, circa 1860.
