Flat Transport Trunk, Large Covered Wooden Suitcase, Travel Trunk.

Beautiful travel trunk, flat top from the beginning of the 20th century. The structure is made of wood coated with a brown coating to make it waterproof. It is reinforced with wooden slats and curved sheet metal brackets. The whole is fixed with rivets. Two side handles and one on the front allow transport. They are made of thick leather and in very good condition. A system of three closures is installed on the front of this trunk (we do not have the key). It has an interior lined with paper with a pattern of small squares. It is also equipped with a removable compartment with two retaining straps. Please note, a small tear with a repair on the bottom of this compartment (see photo). Our trunk is in very good general condition, it has a few small snags due to its use and age, without any seriousness.
