"Well Religious Matrix"
An old steel die once used to make jewelry and religious objects. These striking molds come from the Mayaud company established in Saumur in the 18th century. Medals were struck there and other religious objects were stamped. Engravers and paternosters excelled at it. This small object, a testament to a heritage of expertise, was nestled in a craft cabinet, coated in grease for proper preservation. It measures only a few centimeters but inspires great enthusiasm.
