"Exotic Bronze By Bruno Zach, Late Edition "
Late bronze good quality casting. The work is not modern and had long been in the collector's collection. Bruno Zach was an Austrian Art Deco sculptor of Ukrainian origin who worked in the early and mid-20th century. As a young man, he emigrated to Austria and studied at the Vienna Academy under the sculptors Hans Bitterlich and Josef Müllner. He worked in Austria and Germany. Famous for his fine bronzes made for the Wiener Bronze, or Vienna Bronze Manufactory, the Ukrainian-born Zach was best known for his figures of flirtatious and sexually liberated young women.
